Extraordinary Life Forms #13, "Ny-Rhee, the Fairy"
11x14 in., 2001
Acrylic, Ink, Color Pencil
This fairy is very mischievous and childlike and is always getting herself into trouble. She often likes to hide her wings and pointy ears and transform herself into a human, so she can mingle about with normal people. She likes humans, although they can be troublesome at times. One of her biggest vices is falling in love with human boys that she knows she cannot have. . . . .physical relationships between the material world and the spiritual world are not only an impossibility, but they break the laws of nature. . . . .the Fairy Godmother wouldn't have it!
Ny-Rhee is a very practical joker and often likes to take bites out of people's cake when they are not looking. She's also the fairy of paranoia. Whenever you're a mile away from your house, and you drive all the way back just to see if you locked the door or not. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
(and you know good and damn well that you did!)
. . . . . . .Ny-Rhee is to blame!
She's also loves kissing boys and pinching their asses.
Far too often does this one neglect her fairy duties to go and play with the humans. She is the most loved of many fairies because of her youth and "happy-go-lucky" personality. . . . . . . .she's one of the babies, so they all adore her. But if she ever wishes to excel to a mature state with her fairy powers, she will have to learn to keep the play time to a minimum. However, this one is a young soul who is not ready to settle down with her tomfoolery, so for now all the other fairies can do is watch over her and make sure she doesn't give the Fairy Godmother too many gray hairs. . . . . . . . . . . . . . .but no one knows what Ny-Rhee will get herself into next!
