Here, you can see that I've finished my sketch. I like to have a very good idea of the direction I'm going in before I put some paint on the surface, as my work is typically so detailed that I prefer to not leave things up to chance. Therefore, I always sketch my pieces out in full before even touching my paintbrush.

The entire sketch was done with Prismacolor Pencils on a Strathmore, Hot Press Illustration Board.
