Step 1

Again, I will be using Golden Acrylics to slay this advesary that lay ahead of me.

1) You see that I have done my sketch as carefully as possible. In back I have layed down a layer of Powder Blue with some Phtalo Blue on top of it. However, this light application will prove to be too weak, and in the next step you will see that I have gone over it with a thick layer of Cobalt Teal, a light blue.

2) I have also started to lay down a small portion of the detail for the mountains. I can't quite recall, but I think I used a light appliction of Burnt Sienna to do the trick.
